World No. 1 male tennis Novak Djokovic defend his title from last year's Australian Open, after he beat Andy Murray with 6-7 (2) 7-6 (3), 6-3, 6-2. So the Serb won the tournament for the third consecutive time and fourth total in his career, while his Scottish opponent lost 3rd final in Melbourne for the past four years.
Even the first rallies of "Rod Laver Arena" implied a serious battle from the baseline, which would be fought between the two players. Surprisingly, Djokovic was the man who admits more unforced errors while Murray was nearly impenetrable in the rallies. However Nole reached only break points in the set that came in the 6th game, but allowed himself to his opponent to save his service game. This led to a tiebreak, which Murray drew with 4:0 and won it easily with 7:2.
