The Czech Tomas Berdych secured a place in the final tournament in tennis ATP in London, which will be held in November. Berdych, No. 6 in the world rankings, will play for the third time in his career in a race involving the eight strongest players in the world.
The Czech joins world No. 1 Roger Federer (Switzerland), Novak Djokovic (Serbia), Andy Murray (Velikobiraniya), Rafael Nadal (Spain) and David Ferrer (Spain) who will participate in the tournament.
Berdych ensured his place in the competition after winning the title in Stockholm this weekend.
Juan Martin del Potro (Argentina) and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (France) are also almost certain participants in the tournament, which started on November 5.
Rafael Nadal is injured and his participation in the final tournament of the ATP is uncertain. His place could be taken by Janko Tipsarevic (Serbia), who is currently ninth in the rankings.
