The leader in the world rankings Victoria Azarenka (Belarus) won the titlein tennis tournament for women in Linz (Austria) with a prize fund 220 000 USD.
The representative of Belarus defeated in the final Julia Goerges (Germany), with 6:3, 6:4 for 77 minutes.
Azarenka won the first set easily, but in the second half led with 5:0. When all in the match seemed decided, the 23 years old German won four consecutive games.
Seeded first in the scheme Azarenka still managed to reach the final victory for his fifth machbol.
The title is number 14 in career of the Belarus girl and sixth for her this year.
