The Olympic champion Andy Murray will face Novak Djokovic in the final match of the tournament in tennis Masters Series with a prize of € 3,500,000. In the semifinals Murray deal with number in the world rankings Roger Federer after beating in straight sets - 6:4, 6:4.
The match was interrupted twice because of rain, but the Briton made a decisive break in the first set and won it. In the second part at 5:4 in favor of Murray the meeting was again canceled because rain and the organizers were forced to lower the rolling roof. Despite the pause the British tennis player won his submission and greeted with deserved success in the game.
Andy Murray will try to win a third consecutive title in Shanghai, after he triumphed in the finals in 2010 and 2011.
In the other semifinal Djokovic defeated with 6:3, 6:4 the Czech Tomas Berdych. The Serb made two breaks and led with 5:1 in the first set but then Berdych won new two games and stopped the series of Djokovic.
The second part of the second-seeded in the main draw Serbian tennis player take advantage of advances from 4:2 and win the match. Tomas Berdych failed to benefit none way from his starting attack and logically failed to qualify for the match for the title.
Until now Novak Djokovic has won eight of 14 games against Andy Murray.
