Defending champion Andy Murray (Great Britain) qualified for the quarter-finals of the tennis tournament on hard courts in Tokyo, Japan with a prize of 1.28 million dollars.
1st-seeded Murray, who is an Olympic champion London'2012, defeating Lukas Latsko (Slovakia) with 6:1, 6:2 in 57 minutes.
