World No. 5 Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (France) qualified for the third round of the Masters Series tournament in Monte Carlo with a prize of € 2,750,000.

In the second round Tsonga defeated Philip Kolshrayber (Germany) with 6:2, 6:4. The French took three breaks and won for 1:25 hours.
