Serbian Jelena Jankovic reached the finals of the tennis tournament on hard courts in Cincinnati, which will contend for trophies with Maria Sharapova of Russia.
Placed under № 13 Jankovic side ninth in the scheme Andrea Petkovic of Germany 7-6 (7-4), 6-1 to get a chance to win a second title in Cincinnati, where he won the trophy in 2009
Sharapova's compatriot removed and placed under № 2 Vera Zvonareva in three sets 2-6, 6-3, 6-3. In men, the final will play Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray. The Serb won the first set against Tomas Berdych 7-5, and Czech Republic's not out on the court in the second after injuring his right shoulder. In the other semifinal Murray beat Mardy Fish 6-3, 7-6 (10-8).
