The best Bulgarian tennis player Tsvetana Pironkova lost 5:7, 6:4, 6:1 match from the first round of the strongest tournaments in Cincinnati of the American Christina McHale.
McHale got into the main draw after the tournament organizers gave a wild card and 19-year-old justified their confidence with a strong match against Pironkova.
Bulgarian itself was inconclusive on its own serve and won only 51 percent of points that took after its submission. This allowed McHale to implement six of 13 break opportunities, which ultimately were enough for victory.
This success will give the young American to stand up against world No 1 Caroline Wozniacki in the second round.
