Bulgarian Elitsa Kostova qualified for the quarterfinals of the tennis tournament on clay courts in the Belgian city Korksiyde prize fund 25 000 dollars. Seeded second ahead without Kostova game as its opponent Martina Gledacheva also from Bulgaria withdrew because of injury. Kostova secured 14 points for world ranking and 686 dollars for a spot in the semifinals, it will face the winner of the match between No. 8 Anna Julia Remondina (Italy) and qualifier Hromachova Irina (Russia). Gledacheva dropped because of injuries and the doubles quarterfinals. She and partner Sophie and Belgian Oyen gave 1:2 games in the first set in meeting with the Dutch duo Lesley Kerkhove and Bernice van de Velde.
