Natsionalkata Bulgaria's "Fed Cup" Elitsa Kostova qualified for the quarterfinals of the tennis tournament on clay courts in the Slovak city of Trnava in prize money 50,000 dollars.

Seeded Kostova seven wins in the second round Bibiana Shoofs (Netherlands) in a controversial match with 6:3, 4:6, 6:3.

So 21-year-old Bulgarian secured 18 points for the world rankings and 1235 dollars.

The place in the semifinals will meet in the fourth scheme Kadantsu Alexandra from Romania.
