The best Bulgarian tennis player Tsvetana Pironkova will fall by 15 places in world rankings, despite the good performance of the British Open.
23-year-old Pironkova reached chetvarfinalite of "Wimbledon", but the loss of Petra Kvitova (Czech Republic) with 3:6, 7:6 (5), 2-6 yesterday Bulgarian failed to defend last year earned ranking points in the semifinals in London.
So Monday, Pironkova will be 48th place in WTA ranking with 1151 points.
Vodachka scheme will remain Caroline Voznyatski (Denmark) with 9915 points, while Belgian Kim Clijsters will retain its second position with 7625 points.
Semi-finalist of the "Wimbledon" Victoria Azarenka (Belarus) and Maria Sharapova (Russia) does have a chance to replace Vera Zvonareva in the third position.
