The best Bulgarian tennis player Tsvetana Pironkova qualified for the third round of Open tennis in the UK. Seeded Pironkova won 32 in the second round Petra Martic Croatian 6-1, 6-4. In the first set Pironkova made two breaks to win 6-1 in 25 minutes. The second part of the Bulgarian met a lot more difficult, but still wins in ten games after just 42 minutes a game. 23-year-old from Plovdiv will face in the third round against No. 2 in the scheme and the 2010 Vice-champion Vera Zvonareva of Russia in the semi-final replay last season, if Russia's defeat Elena Vesnina compatriot in the second round.
