Five times Wimbledon champion Venus Williams was eliminated in the quarterfinals of the tournament on grass in the English town of Eastbourne with a prize of 618,000 dollars.
Williams lost to Daniela Hantuchova (Slovakia) 2-6, 7-5, 2-6 after the 2:23 game.
