Two-time finalist in the Open de France tennis Robin Soderling (Sweden) is ranked for the fourth krag.Syoderling, number 5 in the main draw, beat Leonardo Mayer (Argentina) with 6:1, 6:4, 6:3 to 1:49 hours. The Swede, who won three titles this season, allowed two breaks in the match and made 19 unforced errors. In the third set decisively at 5:1 Soderling served for the match but conceded breakthrough and Maier won two consecutive games. In the next round Soderling will play Gilles Simon (France). For the fourth round is ranked Ivan Ljubicic (Croatia), who made 11 aces in beating No. 16 - Fernando Verdasco (Spain) 6:3, 7:6 (8:6), 6:4.
