Nine Bulgarian athletes have achieved victories in the first qualifying day of the tournament Zagorka Tennis Cup in Plovdiv. Alexander Velev, Nedyalko Kraev, Borislav Bonchev, Ibrahim Karmadzha, Georgi Yordanov, Andreas Neykov, Marcel Radev, Vasil Tomov Martin Shandarov and performances will continue tomorrow on the courts at TC Lokomotiv in the second round of qualifying. In the first match of the day Alexander Kraev Nedyalko Velev and won with 6:4, 6:2 Marco Radlovachki over from Sweden and 6:2, 6:2 over Alexandros Kanaris from Greece. Tennis players Bonchev Karmadzha, Yordanov had other rivals for the Bulgarians in the training phase. Borislav Bonchev prevailed with 2:0 sets (7:6, 7:5) over Antonio Stoynev, an athlete from the club hosting the tournament - Ibrahim Karmadzha, won 2:0 (6:4, 6:4) against Petar Atanasov Georgi Yordanov and reached expressive victory (6:1, 6:1) over Alexander Stojanovski, again from Bulgaria. Andreas Neykov beat Dominik Schultz of Germany with 6:3, 6:2, Marcel Radev Georgiev beat Peter 6:2, 6:1, and Vasil Shandarov won 6:4, 6:3 against John Tsonev. In the last match in today's racing day, Martin Tomov beat Nicolas Telkedzhiev with a score 6:3, 7:5. In other more interesting fights with international participation, Josef Kaznets the USA won 6:2, 7:6 match against Stefan Mitsov from Macedonia, Austrian Gabriel Diarra had difficulties only in the first set against Gregory Alexandru from Romania, winning by 7: 5, in the second - with 6:0.
