The best Bulgarian tennis player Tsvetana Pironkova dropped out in first round of the strongest tournament of the clay courts in the Spanish capital Madrid with a prize fund 3.5 million euros. 23-year-old Pironkova lost 6:7 (5), 6:4, 1:6 by Hungarian Lamb Sava in a match that lasted 3:16.
The match started well for 35 th in the world from Plovdiv and it led to 3:1. 22-year Sava turn around 5:4 and served for the first set. Hungarian, however, allowed a breakthrough and subsequently led to the tiebreaker. It Pironkova took advance of 5:3 points but then lost four straight rallies, and thus the first part 67 minutes after the game.
The second set was also very equivalent and lasted more than an hour, but the Bulgarian failed to reach reconciliation after the decisive break in the seventh game.
After 1:1 in the third but the former number 13 in St. Sava took five straight games, and with it the match. Pironkova still work 5 points for the WTA rankings and 7825 euros.
