World No. 1 Rafael Nadal (Spain) qualified for the semifinals of the tennis tournament in the Spanish city of Barcelona with a prize fund € 1,995,000. Nadal, who won five titles in Barcelona between 2005-2009 year, beat Gael Monfils in the quarterfinals (France), 6:2, 6:2 for 72 minutes. The Spaniard made two breaks in the first set that lasted 35 minutes and the second part of the record two more breaks. So Nadal now has 28 wins and only 1 loss of the tournament in Barcelona, where this year aims to their sixth title.
