No. 1-ranked Caroline Voznyatski won the 14th tournament of his career, having reached their 19th victory this year, with 6:1,2:6,6:3. After two hours and 8 minutes of play Voznyatski beat Marion Bartoli and won the final in Indian Wells, which last year lost in the finals of the Serb Jelena Jankovic.
Voznyatski totally dominated the first set and won it only for 27 minutes, but the French player "rose" in the second set. In the third set world No. 1 Carolyn Voznyatski again dominated and won his second tournament of the year.
