Ivo Karlovic recorded the fastest serve in tennis history to match pairs of Croatia against Germany in the first round of World Group Davis Cup.
208-centimeter shot Croat submission with 251 km / h, which improved the record of Andy Roddick (USA) from 249.4 km / h in 2004.
Karlovic and Ivan Dodig, however, lost the game by Christopher Kas and Philipp Pechner with 3:6, 6:3, 7:5, 3:6, 4:6, after almost three hours and a half game and led Germany with 2:1 victories before today last two meetings of the single.
