The Swiss Roger Federer will not participate at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro and will miss the rest of the 2016 season, as he needs a more protracted rehabilitation after sustained on 3 February knee surgery if he wants to extend his career. Federer announced that on his profile in Facebook a few minutes ago.
The 34-year-old Swiss player underwent arthroscopy in the early February after the Australian Open, Australia and then missed Roland Garros, because of back pain.
