The Belgian won the tournament in Quebec 1-10-2012

The Belgian Kirsten Flipkens won the title of the tennis tournament in Quebec (Canada) with a prize of 220,000 dollars.

In the final she beat the eighth placed Lucie Hradetska (Czech Republic) with 6:1, 7:5. The title is the first for the 26 years old Flipkens of the WTA tournament.

At the U.S. Open a few weeks ago the Belgian player dropped in the second round.
