Number 1 in the world Novak Djokovic (Serbia) qualified for the quarterfinals of the Open de France tennis. 25-year-old Djokovic turned the Italian Andreas Seppi and won with 4:6 6:7 (5), 6:3, 7:5, 6:3 to 4:18.
For number 1 in the world this was the eighth victory over Seppi in eight matches, although this time he won extremely difficult.
The Serb surprisingly lost the first two sets after a series of mistakes, but then managed to show qualities and to reach success. Djokovic, champion of the Australian Open this year, breaking a nine and 77 unforced errors. The Italian, who is 22nd in the main draw, he could win the match, but after a 5:5 loss in the fourth set two consecutive games. Djokovic led with 6:5, then ended the set with a break. The Serb scored a total of 45 winning strokes against 43 of his opponent.
