Argentine tennis player David Nalbandian beat Croat Marin Cilic 4-6, 6-4, 6-4 in two hours and qualified for the quarterfinals of the tournament hall in Basel.

Seeded sixth-seeded Cilic managed to take the first set of the match, having achieved two breakthrough serve of his opponent, but won the next two Nalbandiyan parts, losing only six points on serve in their own.
