Former world number one Roger Federer, Switzerland / Janko Tipsarevic beat / Serbia / 6:3, 6:4 in the second round match of the international tennis tournament in Basel with a prize fund € 1,755,000.
Seeded in a tournament scheme Federer met great resistance from the Serbian tennis player and qualified for next round, informed the Bulgarian Telegraph Agency.
In the first round match of Andy Roddick / USA defeated Sam Kueri / USA / by 7:5,7:6. Postaveniyaat number 4 in the tournament circuit Roddick made 16 aces against his compatriot and the second round where they will play with Andrew Golubyov from Kazakhstan.
