A record-breaking 6, 000 spectators looked at the last open practice of Swiss tennis star Roger Federer before the Holp Cup tournament, which kicks off on December 30th in the Australian town of Perth.
`I hope to improve this record and see even more people in the future, but even if it does not, it`s still great, I just wanted to give a chance to Perth fans to watch tennis for free, ` Federer said.
Federer participates in the mixed-team tournament with his compatriot Belinda Bencic. The two started in the race on Saturday against Japan.
