PSG striker Kylian Mbappe received the Golden Boy award for Europe`s best footballer for up to 21 years. The poll is organized by the Italian newspaper Tutosport and includes journalists from leading European media. Mbappe was ahead of Barcelona`s striker Ousmane Dembele and Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus.
Last season, Mbappe played for Monaco, scoring 44 goals in 26 games in all of the tournaments, helping the team to win the French title and reach the Champions League semifinals. In the summer, the striker went to Paris Saint-Germain for the sum of 165 million euros. Last year, the Golden Boy Award won Bayern midfielder Renato Sanchez, who is now renting out in Swansea.
