U.S. tennis player James Blake announced that he will withdraw from active sports career after participating in the U.S. Open.
In the first round 33-year-old veteran will face тхе Croat Ivo Karlovic, and he announced his decision at a press conference. "Obviously I'm didn't surprised anyone, judging by the emails, messages and calls I have received in the last 24 hours since I announced that I will give a press conference," jokingly began Blake.
"There is no surprise here. This is my last tournament. I spent 14 years in incredibly good rounds, I love every minute of it. Hardly I could not ask for a better career. "
"It's always seemed a bit greedy to think about the games that were supposed to win, but I failed," added Blake.
