Maria Sharapova dropped out of the open tennis championship of the United States because of an injury.

This was officially announced by the organizers of the first tournaments of the Grand Slam. Maria told us that she could not come to the U.S. Open championship with an injury on the back and dropped out of the tournament, "said the race director David Brewer. US Open held in New York from 26 August to 9 September.
