The former world No 1 Martina Hingis will return to court again, six years after she played her last professional match in a tournament series of WTA.

32-year-old Swiss will take part in the scheme doubles tournament in Carlsbad, Calif., as her partner will be Daniela Hantuchova. Hingis played for the last time in September 2007 when gave a positive doping test for cocaine and declined for the second time in the sport. Just last week, the winner of 14 Grand Slam titles was admitted to the tennis Hall of Fame.

"I can not wait to return to professional tennis exactly in California. I remember that I won the title of singles and doubles in 1997 and two years later won the singles again. This is one of my favorite tournaments. I feel in a good shape, my racing spirit is alive and here. I love being on the court, "said the charming tennis player.

Martina Hingis entered the professional tennis in 1995, when she was not yet reached the age of 14 and was a great success. In 1997 won the Australian Open, Wimbledon-US Open singles and took first place in the world rankings, which hold a total of 209 weeks. She gave up on 22 years because of injuries, but returned after four years before again to give up because the positive doping test.
