Two-time champion Novak Djokovic (Serbia) qualified for the quarter-finals of the tennis tournament in the Chinese capital Beijing with prize money 2.2 million dollars.

The leader in the scheme and number two in the world Djokovic broke Argentinean Carlos Berlok with 6:1, 6:3 for 74 minutes. Djokovic, seeking a third title after 2009 and 2010, continued his perfect series in Beijing with 11th win in 11 games.
