Wimbledon champion Serena Williams (USA) qualified for the third round of the Olympic tennis tournament.
Seeded four Williams wins the Polish Urszula Radwanska with 6:2, 6:3 for 73 minutes.
The American make two breaks in each set which was enough for the victory. Williams recorded eight aces and 26 winners.
In the third round Serena Williams will play with Vera Zvonareva (Russia), which won with 6:3, 6:3 Francesca Schiavone (Italy).
In the first round match Venus Williams (USA) beat No. 9 in the scheme Sarah Erami (Italy) with 6:3 6:1 in 63 minutes. The American made six breaks against Erami and in the second round will play with Aleksandra Wozniak (Canada).
