Czech girl Petra Kvitova continues his title defense for women "Wimbledon", after qualifying for the quarterfinals of the tournament. Kvitova fourth in the scheme have difficult over the former champion of the "Roland Garros" - Francesca Schiavone (Italy) with 4:6, 7:5, 6:1.
Czech girl managed to deal with with her Italian rival, despite losing a set and allow a breakthrough in the second part. Kvitova did not surrender and managed to lead with 6:5 in the second set before the meeting to be interrupted for a while because of rain. Czech girl totally dominated the third set and after only one lost game wins the match.
The Italian won the first set, although she made two winning shot and 16 unforced errors. Kvitova even took the second half with only four winning strokes and 14 unforced errors.
Kvitova will play in the quarterfinals with four times champion Serena Williams (USA).
