Italian tennis player Francesca Skiavone continued successful defense of his title from last year's Roland Garros and reached the final of the tournament after beating the hosts hope Marion Bartoli 6-3, 6-3.
Skiavone demonstrate very strong game and he left almost no chance of his opponent. The first set began equally, but Skiavone failed to achieve a breakthrough and shut it down smoothly. The second part started much better for Bartoli, who led 2-0 and a break. French tennis player however failed to hold his lead and won only one of the next seven games. Defending champions from last year Skiavone close match with a convincing 6-3, 6-3 on the hour and 30 minutes. In the final she will face the representative of China's Li Na, who earlier in the day beat Maria Sharapova 6-4, 7-5.
