American Andy Roddick will miss Roland Garros because of a shoulder injury, confirmed the official organizers of the second tournament of the season Grand Slam.
World № 11, who has never passed the fourth round at Roland Garros was forced to leave the tournament in Nice this week and explained that he injured his right shoulder in the Masters in Rome.
Roddick has a victory at the U.S. Open three times in 2003 and was a finalist at Wimbledon.
Juan Carlos Ferrero, winner of Roland Garros 2003, will also miss this edition, which starts on Sunday.
